Operation: Highlife - April 30, 2008
Revival. Restoration. Revolution. This is what our generation needs in Jefferson County and all over the world.

On April 30th, the very first Operation: Highlife was held at the Thousand Islands High School in Cape Vincent, NY. So what exactly is Operation: Highlife, you might be wondering?
It’s the awakening of souls, an explosion of change that spreads like wildfire throughout the hearts of young people.
It is a revolution.

The high school auditorium was quickly overflowing with young people this past Wednesday night as one by one they filled the seats, anxiously awaiting the start of the night’s events. At 7:00, Chrystelle and Marty from NLCC introduced Out of Hiding, a Christian band from Connecticut previously known as Holyfire. Out of Hiding hit the night off with some upbeat music, stirring up the energy in the room. Powerful skits performed by the 33Live Drama Team
followed shortly after with an incredible display of emotion, touching hearts throughout the room.
In conclusion, Christopher Hopper ministered an inspiring message of hope and restoration, reaching out to the lost hearts in the room. Our generation is in the midst of an identity crisis, and God wants to become that new identity to those who are seeking for fulfillment. When young people can begin to see themselves through Christ’s eyes, they can see the world through His eyes, and then they can begin to make a difference in the lives around them. When Christopher finished, he offered prayer for anyone who wanted to commit their hearts to serving God. The floor swarmed with over sixty young people, all with a burning desire to find som
ething different, something other than the life that the world is offering them.
This revolution is just beginning. This was just one school, but before long it will be two schools, ten schools, twenty…get the idea? We can only imagine what big plans God has for this generation. Don’t miss out on what He has in store for you. ☺

I want to thank you for bringing Operation Highlife to Thousand Islands. It was an amazing experience for me and my friend Brandi. I have been going to church consistently for about 7 years now in Watertown, NY to Faith Fellowship. I went to the youth group there but it was too far away and i wouldn’t get home till like 10 at night, so i stopped going. I attended New life’s youth group tonight and i enjoyed it very much and plan on coming back next wednesday. Christopher Hopper is the most amazing person i have met. He knows how to preach the word so us teenagers can understand it. He is at our level. I have been to many youth events such as Battle Cry and ATF, since i have been going to them i have not yet found myself a favorite speaker. I now have found one, Christopher Hopper. Thank you for all that you have done. You and your wife have put your heart and soul into helping our generation reach god. The Lord is amazing and you and your wife are trying your hardest to to help us understand him. Thank you for all that you have out into this and i hope to be attending youh group more often. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
