In the minds of Christian teenagers, the thought of taking over their schools with their report cards is not a frequent one. However, the lack of excellence in school is what causes us to lose our influence in one of the Seven Mountains; the Seven Mountains of Influence being Arts and Entertainment, Government, Family, Business, Media, Religion, and Education. Losing education would be detrimental to the church’s influence in the world, especially considering the the statistic that: “74 million students will go somewhere to be educated in 2009. That is one quarter of the US population.” Imagine if 74 million people were added to Gods kingdom! This is why being excellent in school is important. In order to gain influence in an area you must first master it, if you do not you lose your right to speak.
This night was a night of encouragement, because you might be saying, “Well, I’m just not good at school; I’m just not smart enough.” The beauty of it is that God created you and your brain, and with Him all things are possible.
