Wednesday the 24^th started the first of the Seeds teachings by Pastor Christopher, aka an explaining of the basics of Christianity. However, even for those in the crowd that have carried the title their whole lives, the teaching still drove home some important points.

First important thing to realize is who God is. A very short summary concludes that God is three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Also He is the King of a heavenly Kingdom where there is no disease, divorce, or any sort of lack. Sounds nice, doesn’t it?

Next we explored His heart and its intents toward us as humans. Firstly He molded us after Himself. Also we were made for friendship with Him and to rule the earth as a representative of the divine.

However, there are conditions. We have freewill, we have a choice…therefore giving us the opportunity to demonstrate love; obedience demonstrates love and love demonstrates obedience. They cannot be separated.

And so we blew it…we broke covenant with God, we used our freewill and chose disobedience. Under the covenant, blood was required. Unfortunately it was never enough. A better sacrifice was needed. In conclusion Pastor Christopher explained that:

1. You are a sinner and,

2. As a sinner you cannot please God

Then he set down his microphone and walked off the stage, and the night was ended.
