It had to have been the single moment in my life in which i could feel every single emotion in my being come out and i could truly feel the presence of god. I had been towards the back not knowing anyone but a few friends i had known from school, being the shy person that i am. But once the music started going, and i have always been a fan of upbeat music, i started getting closer to the stage area, after they stopped playing the music and Mr. Hopper went to the stage, i sat back down. But once they started the skit in which i saw the teen being faced by the obstacles of drugs, alcohol, and all of the other obstacles brought before us teens these days, i am not ashamed that i bawled like a baby. I had never felt these emotions in my life, and when i saw my friends that i had never seen cry in my life, i could tell god was in that room. I felt as though all of my problems melted away, an unconditional love, that i had never felt before. I have felt different ever since that day. whenever my friends would swear i felt different about it, i felt as if i could feel the hate. I have picked up the bible and know understand why so many people read this great book. i feel different in every way, and i will go to every youth group i can go to, in order to feel like i did that night at operation high life. It was an amazing experience for me and my friend Brandi. I have been going to church consistently for about 7 years now in Watertown, NY to Faith Fellowship. I went to the youth group there but it was too far away and i wouldn't get home till like 10 at night, so i stopped going. I attended New life's youth group tonight and i enjoyed it very much and plan on coming back next wednesday. Christopher Hopper is the most amazing person i have met. He knows how to preach the word so us teenagers can understand it. He is at our level. I have been to many youth events such as Battle Cry and ATF, since i have been going to them i have not yet found myself a favorite speaker. I now have found one, Christopher Hopper. Thank you for all that you have done. You and your wife have put your heart and soul into helping our generation reach god. The Lord is amazing and you and your wife are trying your hardest to to help us understand him. Thank you for all that you have out into this and i hope to be attending youh group more often. The band was great because it really got the teenagers going and it got the energy up too. I believe that Pastor Christopher's meesage was what the highschooler's needed to hear, that God loved them, cared for them, and wanted them! The message told them there was hope for them, and I think that is what they needed to hear. I knew alot of the people that were there, from doing gymnastics and playing softball with them, and I was happy to see that most of them were up front recieving Jesus for themselves. I was really glad that we got a great turnout, and I can't wait to see the results! God is absolutly amazing! -Kendall Meeks operation High Life was amazing.
